Determination is attitude that beats the odds.

Determination eliminates frustration and creates confidence.

For everyone, success comes from a place of trial and error. When trying to invent electricity, Thomas Edison famously  said, “I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.”  Today, search engines guide us to be like Mr. Edison. We feel more determined because we know, we can search other ways, other solutions, more alternatives, and that in the cloud there are always new possibilities. We can cross any bridge in our lives because we’re more creative.

Staying in step with change happens by staying clear about what does not change. What does not change is the human ability to feel what is right. What feels deeply right connects directly with our passions and sense of purpose.

Examine how you feel and connect with determination. This attitude keeps us in touch with what feels right, and is a direct link to courage, passion and excitement. Use determination. It’s cool to stay connected. Sensual thinking is a collaboration of what we sense with what we know.

Mark King, decided to be an inventor when he was 17.  He trusted ‘his own method’, his enthusiasm and his intuition about what felt right. He trusted himself to think with his senses and feel with his mind. Sometimes determination feels like confidence. Mark connected with his passion and discovered a steady determined confidence that helps him continue to beat the odds.

Determined to do what feels right, Mark King went from making things from SuperGlue and bubble gum to making a machine to analyze the crunch in granola bars for a multi-billion dollar company. Today, the 21-year old community-college dropout, has multiple patents, and continues to trust what feels right.

We are all naturally sensual thinkers. Sensual thinking is not intellectual. It is a connection with wisdom. Wisdom is not the same as knowledge. Knowledge can be memorized or learned. Wisdom is a sense of understanding of how things fit together. We feel when things make sense. Tune in to what makes you feel determined. It’s right under your skin.

Connecting with the passion of what feels right, feels good. Talk less; sense more. Determination deletes frustration. It feels like confidence. Think with your senses; feel with your mind.

Get attitude and beat the odds!
